Own the payroll calendar: cut-off, input freeze, statutory due dates Compute and file PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy against current rates Reconcile the payroll register, the GL and the bank file — three numbers, one story Handle joiners, leavers and off-cycle runs under maker-checker 3–7 years running Kenyan payroll Current on the gazette — you check KRA / NSSF / SHA, not a WhatsApp forward CPA part-qualified is a plus, not a requirement
